Policy
We will ship your order as
soon as we receive all materials from Lindberg manufacturer.Delivery
times are subject to inventory status from our Lindberg factory in
Danmark.
We offer the following shipping methods:

Policy
Customers
often ask what our return policy is. We aim for complete customer satisfaction.
If you are not completely happy with your purchase, we want to hear about it.
Let us know if something is wrong and we will do what we can to make it right.
Any requests of a refund must be made within 30 days or all sales final.
Lindberg product can not be discounted even if you have an insurance discount
plan. There will be a restocking fee of 20% since all orders are custom
orders.
Frame
purchases that have Lens crafted outside of our Laboratory will
void all frame warranties
- Abuse is not Warranted
- Partial refunds on stock items like frames.

Eyeglasses frames
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with
your frames, you may return them, but you must return them within 30 days for a
partial refund. Since Lindberg frames are custom
ordered a restocking fee of 20% will be charged plus any postage
and handling charges will not be refunded. After 30 days, if you detect a
manufacturing defect that is covered by the manufacturer's warranty, return the
glasses to us and we will process the return and replace the frame.
Custom Lenses
In the event that there
was an error by the doctor who did the refraction (prescription), we
will replace your new prescription lenses at our cost plus shipping and handling
charges.There will be no charge for our labor.
If a customer
decides on any additional add ons, the add ons will be billed at the
retail prices established on the website, in addition to any Doctors
prescription error change charges.
Frame
only purchases in which patients have Lens crafted
outside of our Laboratory will void all frame
warranties
Prescription lenses, custom non-prescription lenses, and
replacement lenses are made to your specifications so we cannot re-use them if
you return them. If you don t like the lenses for any reason, you may return
them and choose either 1) a 50% refund, or, 2) a one-time full store credit (if
you choose this option, the next pair of custom lenses is not
returnable).
Of course, if we made a mistake crafting
you lens we will replace at no charge.
Sunglasses
Reading glasses and sunglasses which include dark lenses
that come directly from the manufacturer carry the same return policy as
eyeglass frames. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your
frames and lenses, you may return them, but you must return them within 30 days
for a partial refund a 20% restocking fee will be charged plus any shipping
and handling will not be refunded. After 30 days, if you detect a manufacturing
defect that is covered by the manufacturer's warrantee, return the glasses to us
and we will determine defect and if defective process the return and replace
with same or of equal value.
How to return eyewear
If you are not satisfied with your prescription glasses
or eyewear, and you want to return them, please be sure that:
- The item is in perfect condition, the same as when you received
it. All returned merchandise must be in its original saleable condition when
received. Please be sure to include all of the original material
that www.opticaleffects.com and the manufacturer sent with the
merchandise.
- Your return is postmarked within 30 days from the day we shipped
it to you originally. No collect shipments will be accepted and we do not pay
for return postage. You send it via UPS, or Insured Parcel post for shipment.
We cannot be responsible for items that are lost in the mail on the way back
to us.
- Please write the reason for the return on the back of your
packing slip. Enclose the slip in the original packing box, tape the box
securely, and send it to the address listed on the back of your packing slip.
If you do not have your packing slip, please write your name, address, email
address, order number, and date you placed the order on a separate piece of
paper. Send this information in the package to the following address:

If the item is a gift, we can issue
a credit refund to the gift recipient at the same address to which the
order was shipped for future purchases on this website. Please include the email
address or name of the person who gave the gift to help expedite the
process.
If the item is not a gift, we will notify you via email
of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Please
note that we do not refund shipping costs.
